Anybody know anything about this car, its bond release but even so very reasonably priced considering the mods done to it.

it's got an rb motor in it.. you don't have to help him if you don't want too... geesh...
Anyway, my buddy had an R32 GTR for a few years that was pretty much the last one to be legalized through Hiro before he got arrested. Apparently, Hiro only crash tested teh R33 chassis to be DOT approved for the US. He falsified the crash tests for the R32 so motorex never got them legalized except the few the slip through the cracks which teh gov't later 'ok'd' to keep them legal. Obviously, California is tougher to get them legalized, but my same buddy just got his S15 road legal in the state of California earlier this year. There are also other importers now that have managed to legalize other skylines (non R33) for the US. Check around, if you can get it dot approved, you're golden since it's already in teh states and past customs...
Edit: I didn't realize the auction claims it's already DOT approved. If he has teh correct papers to get it registered, see if he can get you a copy to show your local BMV. You should be able to get this without too much problem.
btw, that's a pretty good price, especially for the mileage.. just not feelin teh color...
