Got my Y-pipe installed today at a local muffler shop. He got my Stillen a little more massaged and straight too. Didn't get a chance to push the car yet. So no butt-o-meter results. I noticed the tone got a bit deeper. I asked him if he'd be willing to do the HFC's prior. He declined being Ca and the fine being $25k. So I can't fault him as CARB will go out and test muffler shops all the time. :nono: So me and a neighbor will eventually tackle that together. I asked him how the Y lined up. He said it needed minor tweaking. But not much. I didn't get a chance to look at it while on the lift. Looked at it on the ground. So I didn't ask about specifics of the minor tweaking. Nor could I see and any compression bends from the ground on the new Y. Not going to tune it quite yet. But 1 step closer to my final goal of N/A HP. :dblthumb:

Ilya. Kind of hard to post pictures as I didn't stick around for the car on the lift. And to take pictures while on the ground would basically show you almost nothing. Bare minimal. But when I place her on jackstands I'll try and install the HFC's and get a few pics of the Stillen. Motordyne and Kinetix all together. I knew it was only a matter of time before someone asked me for pictures.

BTW. The welds on the Stillen are good. But good lord. The Motordyne welds are like works of art. It's like it was done by a machine. Who knows. Maybe it was. But like nothing I've ever seen.

More input on the Y. Drove it some more last night. Didn't go to redline. But noticed what a couple guys have written here. Took it to maybe 5krpm. What I've noticed so far. Again I'm not tuned. It lost some low end get up and go. But past maybe 3000-3500 hundred rpm. It really wakes up. Crossing my fingers tuning will remedy all this.

Sound advice Beach. :dblthumb: Will do. As soon as I muster up the courage. :gotme I'll try & do the HFC's myself. It's not that I'm lazy. :nono: It's I'm fighting an ankle injury walkin around like Frankenstein. :chuckle: Nearly lost my foot in a M/C accident. So I'm really being lazy to installing things myself lately. But after hearing your car on video. :naughty: I really want to get mine done.

I bought my XYZ from Z1 motorsports. Kinetix you can probably find anywhere. Vividracing for example. Still haven't installed my Kinetix. But Beachbum swears by them. He's had good luck from them thus far. Don't know how many miles he has on them. But for the price. They're a really good choice.

BTW Gr8, just noticed you had a 5.6. Don't think Kinetix makes a set up for you V8 guys. And I'm not sure if the XYZ will fit either. This was for us puny 3.7 guys. You may have to research it more. I can only say yes it'll fit on 3.7's.
