Motordyne Shockwave TDX2 vs Megan Exhaust

Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a real good exhaust quality and sound. I have been looking at the Megan Exhaust or the Motordyne Shockwave TDX2. The Shockwave comes with the motordyne xyz pipe already connected to it. So i wouldnt need to buy the motordyne xyz pipe for the shockwave, but would with the Megan exhaust. Will be doing this all with the Berks HFC's unless motordyne offers a HFC also. then maybe look between the motordyne and berks. But wanted your guys inputs. Im not looking for crazy loud but a good nice sound and one guy on here CJB LB has a very nice sounding exhaust with the motordyne xyz pipe berk hfc and megan exhaust.

^ hey it's Anthony.... The video on the post is one prior to me adding the MD xyz and HFCs.... If I remember this vid is when I still had the stock ypipe and full Megan's (mids and axles)....it provided a good tone and still was very efficient. Adding the MD xyz will really open up the exhaust and puts more hp to the car...

You mentioned the MD shockwave, I think it'll only fit the G35's. give Tony a call at MD and he'll confirm. You may also look at the ART pipes... Will provide power but will not filter any exhaust fumes (it's actually test pipes)

Just start with the Megan set -- mids and axle backs.... If you like that sound then you're good.... Also add the spacer and performance air filter...

If you want more power, then add the aftermarket ypipe and HFCs... Don't forget to Uprev....

My current exhaust just has the stock mufflers put on and modified piping... I put pix on a prior post in here (will Megan mids fit stock mufflers)
