I'm pretty new to the site and have a 2006 Pearl Ivory M35x fully loaded with axle back Meghan Pipes... Sounds great by the way but looking for a little more. I live in Northern VA where from Dec- Feb its pretty cold. Sometimes single digit temps. The summers are very humid and hot. I am looking at getting the Motordyne Spacer and wasn't sure if anyone has expertise on the subject. Do I get the 5/16 or the 1/2 and whats the difference other than more airflow? I also am not sure if I need the copper version. Can someone provide some feedback/help. I am adding the Meghan mid pipes in the next month as well as Z-tube and K&N drop in filter. Not sure if that matters.

Thanks guys!

As a New Yorker (our winters are 10x worse than yours - last year one morning it was -37), get the 5/16" Copper ISO Thermal spacer. When you get the exhaust, z-tube and K&N filter...save some cash and get an UpRev tune from 'seymore4' (member on here - his email is 'seymore4*at*gmail.com'). He tuned my M56 and the thing is perfect and I'm still all-stock.

When I had my 2007, I had the Z-Tube, MXP SP Exhaust (one-off, I was the only one with it), and the spacer mentioned above...car ran perfect.

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks man, I appreciate the info. Yeah, our winters aren't bad but i wasn't sure if there was a temperature threshold that you should follow when ordering the copper. How much does an UpRev tune cost?

As Ilya mentioned, hit up seymore. He will give you all the info including price. Much cheaper than going to a shop.

I believe their site specifically states somewhere that if you live in the cold to get the copper one as it transfers heat better or something.
