Anyone else see this yet? It shows it would fit on a M35. ( most likely an M45 too )

Yes....the Art pipes are a big thing with the G35 guys....it fits the M35....I don't want to run them due to the strict CA CARB laws.....some guys say they flow a bad smell of fumes also....some guys don't mind but I can't.....its a great test pipe....get them used ion other forums....

They look good but I too can't have the smell of deleted cats. :nono:

I'm still waiting for someone to make a SS y-pipe for the M45. I would go with the y-pipe & HFC on my car.

how do you smell your own car as you drive??? :gapteeth: You could go custom for the y pipe if you want to. I have some plans coming up and will see if the motordyne xyz will fit some other goodies I bought, if not Ima go custom again. From what I noticed is the M35 cats and M45 cats are different and our Y pipe doesnt bolt into the cats like the 35's do. My guess is all we need to do is install a test pipe or a high flow cat to the y pipes made for the M35's and we should be able to connect up to the stillen, megan, greddy, etc.

1st time I start my car I alway wait at least 1min before moving it (2 or 3mins in winter) out of the garage. You'll really smell it without the cats. Worst cars I had that stuck the most was a modded Mustang and a ported & bridged RX-7

2nd would be when you have the windows open and you come to a stop, the fumes just pour around the car.

The hotter it gets the more it stinks. As long as your moving there's no problem.

You'll still get the smell from HFC but it won't be as bad as running test pipes.

I'm curious to see/know how much different the M45 cats/ypipe compare to the M35... the design and merge points for the xyz pipe is very unique...if you go custom, just closely match the bends and merge points and I think you'll be good. I forgot to mention that the xyz pipe has interchanging modules that connect to the ypipe -- I have the resonator module, but from what I know, guys get the HFC module to mate with the xyz pipe when running the ART pipes / test pipes and/or hi flow cats (to help get rid of or reduce the smell of fumes)....there is also a straight pipe module. I'm thinking of getting a HFC module to swap out with the resonator....a Vband clamp makes it easy to change...

This is what I would like to do:

All bolt-on with high polish mirror finish, I wish I could talk to that guy.

I've showed that y pipe before on here not too long ago,u must of missed it. That's the same place that did my custom set up I have now. The 2nd link you posted, that guy used a megan y pipe I think for the g35's.

That's what I don't understand, in those pics everything is bolt-on. He even state that he only paid $145 for y-pipe & cats and install was $40.

I just spoke with them and they could make anybody this same y pipe if anyone is interested? If you take out the flex pipes it will be a little cheaper and if anyone wants high flow cats or the ability to change between hfc and test pipes it will be 2-3 hundred more. As of right now there isn't an exact price but if enough people are interested I will spend some time making this happen.

also for an update I wont be attempting to install the motordyne xyz pipe. im going to keep what I have now and just cut the new exhaust to bolt up and keep it a true dual. Im pretty sure all you need is someone to make the rest of the piping for it to work though.

You can always go custom without the cats and run sims or tune them out with UpRev. I'll be tuning mine out with the Haltech.
