Motor Trend tests the Honda Coupe, the Altima Coupe and the Mitsubishi Eclipse, all V6, all 6spd. cars. The results are unexpected. The Accord is within a tenth or two of a new G35 at with a 14.0/102 quarter, .3 seconds ahead of the other two cars.

And, here we go again, the Honda performed on regular, not premium, fuel!!! Imagine, performance that close to a G's, and doing it on regular fuel..

The results may surprise you. Nissan didn't win

The final specs...http://www.motortrend.com/road....html

(maybe a mod could fix the title...?)

I beleive I spent some time describing my test drive of some cars on this blog, including a Honda Accord V6 Coupe, which I personally drove and tested and found it to be better than the Nissan Altima and close to the G-35 in performance. The Honda Coupe is the closest you can get at the moment, to the exciting drive you experience in a G-35 Coupe. Of course, with some small mods to the G-35, it will make the Honda Coupe look slow.

The Honda is fast for sure but it is NOT a luxury car.

I paid the same amount for my 2007 G35 sedan as that Honda cost and I think the G is a better deal.

I'll have to watch out for V6 Accord coupes at the track though!!! I wonder if the car magazine's DA correct their times. My G runs a 13.6 corrected but a 14.0 uncorrected.
