I'm a C&D/R&T man myself, but on the flight to New York I was looking for any magazine to peak my interest. Motor Trend had a 350Z/S2000/RX-8 comparo so I picked it up. Not bad, but the other two are still better.

LOL i owned that exact magazine. And my J is that exact color. THAT'S the article i read on Infiniti and what inspired me to go out shopping for an Infiniti rather than a Honda. Man, that brings back memories. Thanks!

Now if someone can find the magazine article from the early 90's that had a silver J30 with spun-aluminum discs, a shark-fin vertical rear spoiler and "ribbons" of color (like the Indy Pace Vette), then THAT'd be cool to post.

Clues: It was in Hot Rod or Car Craft, soon after the release of the J. Car had been customized by a prominent rodder, and was supposed to be the "shape of things to come".

Didn't QUITE work out that way, as the car was especially goofy-looking.
