Motor swap

Hello all, im new..i just bought a new car for my 18th bday:

Im wondering what it will cost to swap in a JDM SR20det motor into it..im looking for 300-450whp.

THanks for any info.

Ha!Ha! well the first thing you have to do is pull that weak motor out of that car and drop the SR in it for about 6000 if you can afford it:rolleyes

Dude get rid of the SR20DET, everybody knows displacement is better, you need a QR25. I want to swap a 2JZGTR motor into my car, I heard you can make sicko power on that motor. In Fast and the Furious they were running 10's on that settup, imagine what it would do in a light 1100lb car like a 240sx! It would run 6's easy.

But that would cost a lot more money than the reactive filter I've been trying to get ahold of for the last few weeks so I guess I'll have to put it on the back burnner for now.

maybe next paycheck (I just got a raise and became drivethrough AND frenchfry manager at work so I'm about to start pimpin out da ride yo)

Dude!... Just take the Skyline chassis and weld your 240 onto it! My friend did this and ran 9s stock!

no dude, everybody knows the GTR is faster than the JZGTE.... duh. I just wish I could find one with the GTiR26det. That'd be sick.

nah, you gotta drop in the diablo 6.0 block and twin turbo itI heard it bolts right up to the cross member just need to do some minor cutting here and there

eh, that might be a little too costly since your 18 and all....just drop in a 300,000 mi ka and turbo it some say it can handle up to 500hp stock internals.I'm going to pick mine up today and pay for it all in cash then im savin' up for my KA swap...can anyone help me with wiring?

Mine did run off of pletonium.......but that sh1ts getting hard to come by lately so I converted it back to some good ol' jet fuel....
