the easy answer si yes, of course what si involved depends on the model of Z you intend to swap into, that is of course when you said "350 motor" that you were asking about the engine from a 350Z and not a chevy small block 350, and to take it one stpe further, the 350Z is a "Z" and it comes stock with a "350 motor" you'll need to be mroe specific or I just rant like a loon

ok, yes the VH35DE will fit in a 300ZX, I personally have little experience with the Z32 and none with the Z33, I beleive I read that the bellhousings were the same so it would bol to the trans, it is still a nissan V6 so I'm gonna guess that the motor mounts are pretty close and shouldn't require much modification if any to work? and the wireing, your gonna have a lot of work there, I'd recomend a standalone for simplicity and servicabulity as well as giving more performance potential

that being said I'm not sure why put the VH35 in, the VG30DETT had 300 hp (same as the newest VH35DE (most of them were only 287)) and when building a turbo motor you just turn up the boost a bit and u goes the power, pretty much all Z chassis have recieved just about every available swaps at somepoint and time, so all I can say is search around, it's prolly been done

thanks for the help, i posted this in 300zxclub.com but got nothing. the reason being for the 350z motor was that it'll be a new motor and also the car he bought it off his cousin for 2000. the motor now has 173,XXX so his cousin offer to pay half of the cost to put a new motor in. thanks for the help.

put a twin turbo Z32 motor in it

I'd take a VG30DETT 300zx motor over the 3.5L 350Z motor any day.
