The Max has the VQ35DE. It's been done, there's a guy who now offers a kit for doing it. It's fast. It kicks ***, but it's not cheap. Let me see if I can find his website.

edit: Emailed.

Umm... did you see the price figure on what I sent you? That + the engine = not cheap. Plus you have to work like hell to get it done.

Turbo QRs scare me too... much more so than a VQ swap.

Boltons + cams and you'll have enough oomph to have fun without causing yourself a lot of frustration down the road (assuming this is your DD, if not, go for broke).

The only bad thing about that is the #3 rod bearing almost always goes out when you do that. I've seen it a dozen times. Until someone makes better bearings I wouldn't add boost. Just because of the Long term issues. Unless someone knows of something I don't.

Yeah thats true. They need to beef up the internals on that motor. I know the Forced Induction Racing makes different stages for the QR25 and someone also makes a kit to install the VQ30 into the B15. Either way it's gonna cost some money.

I've never heard of a VQ30 swap, as that is the older Max V6, from my recollection, and wouldn't make a lot of sense.

I believe you're referring to the VQ35 swap I mentioned earlier. I emailed him a link to the VQ swap kit.

Again, it's not cheap, and IMO not worth it, but certainly it's a possibility for those willing and wanting to go for it.

There's also the SR/QR (SQR) hybrid, but only one of those exists and I don't think the guy who has it makes kits for that yet. I want to say 9000rpm redline and something like 18psi of boost, it's mind-boggling, same guy as the VQ swap kit.

the older engine from the maxima/ZX is a good engine. so is the new one.

the swap will depend on what engine you're trying to put into what car.

i'm assuming it's a late generation sentra, in which case you'd want to put in the VQ35.

it will be a hard swap that will cost a lot.

it will be worth it. it will go fast. very fast.

Again, I don't think a 30 has been done, but a VQ35 has. It's fast, and it's not cheap.

Yes mould, this is a B15.
