Motor Swap Question

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Will a DE bolt up to an older 5 speed? like the one i just found in an 89 240 shell. did a brief search but didnt find my awnser. not gonna take my time to drag the shell and motor across ohio if it wont.

im not shure man....but ..you can look to see if nissan used the same transmission for those modle years for the S-chasis..if they did use the same transmission ..then the likelyhood of it working is greatly improved.
