motor swap compatibility thread

quick question:

which motors will swap directly into a 91 240sx? engine codes please!

i ask this because i found a 240sx with a blown motor and i need to find a motor if i am going to buy it.

Search and you will find which are easiest, you may even find a few writeups on how exactly to do it.

Of course the easiest is going to be a KA24DE, or KA24E. SR20DET is the most common, but there is also the CA18, RB20, RB25, RB26, etc...or be wild like Aries and throw in a LS1.

Time....you only need 7 hours if you have all the parts....well maybe more cause you're prolly going EFI so we'll say 12 hours
