i AM GOING TO swap the motor of my 1995 240sx. im deciding between a LS1 and a rb26. which one is easier? which one will i get more power out of? which will cost less. what are the upgrade-ability of a LS1 and a rb26? and body kits and coil-overs any suggestions? and i've already got a 5 lug kit in the mail and tires.

Both choices are going to require quite a bit of custom work. The LS1 is now becoming popular but still require a lot of custom wiring and modifications. It really depends on what you want to use the car for. I would search around on the RB forum on here for other people that have done swaps and look at the problems that they have run into. As far as the LS1 I know of at least two people on here that have done it. Ls1pwr has an LS1 in his car, might want to post up asking for his input on the swap. As far as body kits just look around and see what suits you, it really is up to your own personal taste, although some people will flame you depending on how tasteful they think your choice is. Just remember, it is your car, not theirs. For coilovers there are a lot of different choices, but again it depends on what you want to use your car for, i.e drifting, drag racing, street use, road course racing, so I would read up on other people that have a lot of experience using multiple systems and see what they liked and why, there are about a million threads on suspension systems so the info is out there, just have to look for it. Good luck with your project however you decide to go with it and welcome to Nicoclub.

Yeah. I want to do a motor swap with my 240sx. Only problem is.. I don't know how to do it haha. and I don't know of anyone that can, even of my friend they can't. so yeah. that sucks. SR for me though. RB25 if capable and easy
