Motor STARTED this morning!!!

Well I was up from 5am Sunday tilll 9am this morning when I finally let her rip and she idled like a champ. All of my wierd electrical and starter problems were due to there being no ground strap on the engine and so it wasn't grounded to the chassis at all. Hooked up a piece of 4awg wire from the intake manifold to the strut tower and bam, 12v came back and I started her up.

Runs rough do to duct taped intake, 2 holes in the intercooler (bov flange, and recirc valve hole), and open downpipe, but she ran fine. Took her around the block with no problems. (Almost shat myself when I realized I had no vaccum on the brake booster and my brakes barely worked.) Hopefully by the end of the week I will have an intake made, and everything welded up. I'll post pics when I get home.

Thats great news man. Its always good to hear someone got their motor started, and better when someone figures out a problem thats had them stumped for a while. Congrads man.
