motor sputters now after 1000 miles?

the motor has never sputtered before. it now has 1000 miles on it. In the mourning or when the car sits for a while. do I need to let it idle and rev a little when the motor has been started for a while. if I just drive, it feels like an injector finally unclogs and then wants to go. i had injecors rebuilt. Any ideas??

I have a Z32, fmic, NEO afc, greddy airinx filter, rebuilt stock motor w/1000 miles, stock clutch (clutch looked fine), the motor had overheating problems for 2 wks. but not catastrophic. Do I need to go back to the stock mafs, have it tuned and be ok?

I believe a MAF issue would cause the car to bog down. If you're talking about "sputter" at idle you might want to check your plugs or for vaccum leaks.
