I was just wondering how come there are no post of racing. Not street racing but track days, auto cross events or even meets," V-days" (at least in my area). I came across this artice of a renault which everyone says our cars are pattern after kick but on the track. It has similar horse power 150bhp and weighs 500 pounds more. what do you think?

There are a couple posts buried. There are at least two of us who have autocrossed our Versas.

But the serious modifications necessary to do all-out circuit track racing simply don't exist for the V. You've got coilovers, and some bolt on mods, but you don't have anything to make a seriously built engine yet.

FYI - a stock Versa may be fun to drive in an autocross, but that's mostly because autocrossing is fun. It is really a dog in stock form as far as acceleration and handling, when you compare it to everything else being brought to the track. New tires help greatly.

thanks guys. I saw that turn3 article. I just would like to see a normal person "not a tuner shop" do it. I have intake exhaust and was looking into headers, suspension setups and wheels. I have a sl so maybe just grip tires. 50 shot for the strights and great gas mileage during the week
