motor shakes really bad when idle need help

does anybody know why my motor shakes really bad when it idles? the check engine light comes on and off. i've check the spark plugs and spark plug wires, vaccum hoes, still can't figure it outneed help asap

hm,mine did that. except the CEL didnt come on.i found out i was getting un-metered air thru my intake system.

i plugged up the holes and voila, it was fine.

hmm.......I noticed my car doing this as well......I just bought it Sunday 4/30/06 so.......I need to learn all that I can about this car.....It's nothing drastic, but the car does shake when Im at traffic lights.

i get this too i personally just put fuel injector cleaner in it whenever it starts doing it and it goes away.

it turn out to be a bad fuel injector. i ended up replacing it.
