my friend has a 89 240. and someone down the street is selling his 95 KA motor.

what would be needed to make this work?

i was thinkin he'll need a 91-93 wire harness and ecu, some sensors here and there from 91-93.

but then again i dont know much about these cars yet.

any help appreciated :)

nope you dont need any of that stuff assuming the 89 has the DE engine. Just swap the manifold over with the sensors and start that beast up. You may want to swap the cam too since the 95 cams arent as good.

my friend's 240 has the single cam motor. does the manifold and stuff still just switch over?

obviously the cams wont switch over. so i wont even ask that question. hehe

the 89 is a single cam motor. your going to need the motor, the ECU and all engine sensors and wiring.
