So I just replaced the TPS sensor to fix the no pulling problem. My tps was checked two weaks ago and was no good, we thaught that was the problem. after the third time we have the right one.. Took her for a spin, motor is strong, rebuilt stock parts but kometic head gasket. about 600 miles on it now. it bogs down when you heavy throttle but when its past 3000 rpms it seems better. One of my buddy's said its the clutch.. He says that cause his old 280z had the same problem and the clutch was bad. Could it be that???What does nico think? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Check your timing. I've had bad timing cause my car to misfire and bog until 3000, and once the turbo spooled up, it would take off like a rocket.

Depends on if there are boost leaks or thrown codes LOL. Did you get the ECU flashed for the Z32 maf?

Ok well the Z32 maf can intake more air than your standard SOHC (AKA SR) MAF. If you didn't get the ECU reflashed for that maf you motor is taking in more air than the ECU is metering. That would be a problem. Not necessarily the source of your problem but definitely a probable cause...

Unless you have a ROM writer you can not just flash the ECU to accept the Z32 MAFS. Im surprised your car ran at all with it installed and nothing managing it. Did it start messing up rgiht around the time you installed the MAFS?

Anyways, heres a link to the ECU codes and how to check them:

I have the Neo afc installed so it seemed like it ran fine.... i'm planning on going back to the stock maf in the next couple days... this moter was built and just added the z32 at begining.

Is the Neo set to recognize the Z MAFS? Either way, your car will run like poop with the Z MAFS and no correction. Try the stock MAFS and check the ECU codes.
