Where are the motor mounts located on a s13 blacktop?? I get alot of vibration when i turn my car off, would new motor mounts help decrease the vibration of my engine?

Its hard to tell of motor mounts would fix your problem, but it definately sounds like something to look into. To check your motor mounts, go out to your car and physically push on your motor, try to rock it back and forward, if there is substantial movement, than your mounts a are bad.

as for the location, their is one on either side of the motor, look down and you will see them, there is also a trans mount located under the car.

that's about it

I would suggest you NOT change the motor mounts yourself. I don't want to sound like a d!ck but if you don't know where your motor mounts are it probably means you don't have too much knowledge about the car. I'd have someone look at it.

But yes your mounts are probably wasted.

click solid mounts

you will see all that you need to do on the ground... lift is cool but not needed.
