Does anybody know a website where I can find nismo motor mounts for my ka24e? Or any website where i can find and motor mounts for my car. The brand can be cusco or nismo, or if any of you know of anything better for the ka24e just let me know. The brand really does not matter just something affordable.

Thanks! :ylsuper

Upgraded motor mounts will stiffen up your motor so it doesnt rock as much. But the Nismo motor mounts DO NOT fit the KA engine. Sure they seem like they fit, but the engine will sit about 1/2" taller, meaning you cannot put a strut tower brace on and your exhaust manifold down pipe will rattle against the underbody of the car. Not worth it. Just get new OEM mounts.

Yes. Im deciding how much to sell the 2 motor mounts for. The transmission mount works fine, i just cant use the motor mounts. Im sure i could sell them to an SR guy for $150 for the pair. Any thoughts?

Between the OEM mounts and the Nismo, they look alike. The drivers side mounts are even the same height, but the stock mount has an offset on the mounting bolts, while the Nismo is straight thru. The passanger side OEM mount is about 1/2" shorter overall than the Nismo mount, and both have the straight thru mounting bolts.

They might. To check your old mounts, get a floor jack and jack up the engine where it meets the transmission and see if the engine mounts seperate. If they do, they are toast. If not, they may be old, but are still together.

Yes, the Nismo transmission mount works with no problems at all. Its just the engine mounts that dont work on the KA. I would try JSPEC.com to see if Sam would sell just the transmission mount.

hmmm.... I wonder if the engine mount brackets are interchangeable from the SR to the KA, that way you COULD use the Nismo engine mounts. Ive never seen a SR (other than pics), but if the brackets correct the fit, i wouldnt see why not. Any ideas?
