you won't be able to get a torque wrench in there anyway just tighten em down good but not excessively. a dab of locktite might help if you are worried about em vibrating off.

I've never used a torque wrench or locktite and I've put motors in 4 times now and never had any problems...

yeah thats been my experience with stiffer engine mounts.....

one of the big reasons I haven't installed them yet. Plus I really question the performance benefit, the power lost by the stock engine mounts has to be negligible, and the comfort sacrificed by them is considerable.I haven't ridden with the nismo ones though, so maybe they aren't as stiff.

i dont think you have to much to worry about, but a helpful hint, though u may alrdy know it, leave the motor mounts loose until you get the transmission x-member bolted back up

I have them but havent installed them. They arent that bad actually, slightly stiffer than new OEM mounts.

Cusco METAL MM 's are stiff!

ride quality new nismo vs old blown mounts is better w/ nismo.

I like my cars stiff! just not knock filling loose stiff, and these aren't that.

I torqued. It's in the FSM someplace, forgot where exactly. EM section I'm thinking, I used like about 18" of extension to do it on the bottom.

put the mounts on before putting the engine in if you can, but not tightly, makes it easier to go in if you have them on but can wobble em about to line em up first.

theres also something to be said about dampeners

i remember a gaigin car in japan had a dampener setup where it was really loose@ idle, so you wouldnt be shaking at stoplights, but either as you rev, or as boost increases, the dampener got stiffer

i forget if this was the same guy that filled his stock mounts with urethane... but thats also another option (if you have old CA mounts... most of mine got destroyed in the engine removal processes)
