anyone have an extra motormount for a s13? today i was ready to put the motor in and realized that one of my mounts were bad. So i went and bought one...it was like $130...i get home and then look and see that the other one is just as bad...thats my luck for you. I do not want to spend another 130 so i figured i would ask anyone here to see if anyone has one laying around.

not to jack on your thread but, does anyone know where to find polyeurothane bushings for the motor mounts?

lol... Nope, Sorry Tim...my CA isn't even in the car at the moment...It blew up afew months ago, and I've been sourcing parts to rebuild it... Its getting close though!:D

I DO however have afew friends here in town that would give him a ride in their CA's... One has a S13 with a t3/t28 hybrid that runs 13's... the other is Drumma022 from NICO ;) his s14 has somewhere in the 400hp range and is bada$$!

Have your roommate call my cell: 407-252-4712 and we'll try and meet up... both of these CA's are within minutes of me (and UCF) so it shouldn't be too hard to get him a ride in one!

If you're up for a little DIY work you can make your own poly motor mounts for a little over $20. Check this out.

My friend with an mr2 did that to his mounts...its cheap and pretty cool:D

BUT... the Nissan mounts look nothing like those Toyota mounts, and I don't see anyway to fill the mounts with poly-urethane?

Sean

*EDIT* Nissan RWD mounts look nothing like that... I think the FWD ones are like that?

Thanks Myetball, could you drill portions of the orginal mount out and then use the process to replace with eurothane?

I'm sure you could but usually people go to town on the original mount with a razor knife....being careful to leave enough material to ensure the center bushing remains in the correct spot.

yeah myetball, thats kinda what I was thinking, like you said: leave enough to keep the center bushing in the correct place and you should have no problem right??

Yepper....alot of regulars on "that dead forum" , which has been down all week, have used this technique and it works beautifully.

Drilling may be a problem since the rubber may be too soft to drill through.
