we make a solid plate mount...But if you plan on driving the car anywhere other than the drag strip that's not what you want...

Stockers cost more than the Nismo ones. Thats the main reason people opt for the Nismo mounts.

^ remove your stock mounts. goto hardware store. purchase 80 thru 90 (the higher the harder) shore urethane. pour in mounts over stock rubber (broken rubber is fine). let sit 24 hours. install. feel the jdmness.

Quote »where? how? [/quote]what he's talking about is well-explained here... (man, it's amazing what i randomly remember from the se-r list)

but the thing is, s-chassis mounts don't really have "holes" to fill like a lot of transverse-style mounts do- with the B13 mounts, it's easy because you just tape off one side of the "cylinder", pour the stuff in, and leave it sitting on the taped side to set. not saying it couldn't be done w/ our mounts, but it sure looks like it'd be a PITA...

Why not just weld the motor to the chassis? :roll eyes:

^ solid mounts are ALOT different than urethane mounts. urethane mounts still have some give... low shore mounts are even comfortable.
