I have the JGS poly mounts, and they do their job well lol.

Car vibrates alot at idle so if this concerns you I'd go with rubber mounts.

Very very stiff though 0 motor movement.

I did the 3M window weld on the motor/trans. mounts with great results. There is a lot more vibration but very tolerable. You cant beat it for the price.

polyurethane or urethane..cant remember, like an extended hockey puck and peak performance black trans mount, i had to remove the steel tube inserts from the mount. the sound and vibes felt like driving a solid steel mount car. no motor movement..maybe a little if it runs crappy.

That's what I did. Did it to my 180k stockers. Works better than new stock mounts, but not as bad as solids.

I've got the JGS hard rubber mounts. I like them. Still stiff, but not quite as stiff as poly.

I am using the NISMO mounts. Stiffer than stock but not much vibration.

I had solid aluminum and hated them. Everything vibrated! Poly FTW!

How is the height on everyone's mounts? Some say brand new Nismo motor mounts raise the engine to where it hits the strut bar (if you have one).

my hockey puck mounts lowered my motor about an inch, just enough to clear my xcessive intake manifold. that was one of the major deciding factors in going the puck route. i was tired of runnin without a hood. lol.

I have JGS hard rubber motor mounts and the JGS polyurethane for the transmission. It use to vibrate the car a little but after driving around a few months it calmed down. Now it rides really smooth and gives a good sporty feel.

I made a trip to Grainger and bought Flexane 30 , masking taped up one side of my mounts , poured it in , let it cure for 24 hours , install. That stuff is called liquid polyurethane. The #30 is one of the weaker blends. It was a smart choice because I get very little engine movement w/ very little engine vibration. Not bad for $30 bucks.

I have had solid mounts made from aluminum and I've had modified cars with factory rubber mounts. I'll take the factory mounts all day everyday until someone shows me actual proof that a solid mount makes me faster...quite a bit faster.

One of the things that solid mounts do is increase vibration levels throughout the entire chassis. Vibration is bad. It causes parts to wear out far quicker.
