Motor losing spark

My 240 (CA18det) was running rich and getting richer as the last month went by. What I thought was an increasing leak in the intercooler piping somewhere was actually my spark slowly decreasing. One day there was so little spark the car wouldn't start. Which is its current state. I was wondering if anyone knows what might have cuased the car to lose its spark slowly at first , then more rapidly over a month period of time.

- things i have checked already -

- plugs- igniter chip- wiring- ecu- coil packs

Any suggestions?
