I got the mounts Tuesday and me and my friend droped the motor in Friday night. Pain in the *** when you do it from the top with just a chain to adjust the motor. anyways it's in

Next time I'll go from the bottom like I do with the FWD nissans. Yeah it's dirty bfd.

What mounts are you using? Yea it is a tight fit isn't it. I thought for sure I would crush something important :)

Yeah mine looks very similar to that. I used Cameron's mounts. I just got it installed before I went to the beach. My camera ran out of batteries so I wasn't able to take pictures. I put the motor in seprate from the transmission. I am having some problems cause my shifter stick is attached to the transmission still and I can't get it in with it in there. How did you remove yours or how do you? I need to get it out tonight.~ANDREW~

pull the dust boot off, and use a pair of snap ring pliers to remove the ring. then it just lifts out. put it back in the same way.

Thanks a ton. I just read that about the sr 2 minutes ago as I was searching another forum for the answer. I never really got a good look at it. I was wondering how you people installed it with the shifter.~ANDREW~

Everybody I know that did it took it off. It's just a pain to do it with it in. One more thing you have to aim for.

If you put it in from the bottom (engine + transmission), you can leave the shifter in. I did, and had no problems.

Yes I didn't have to cut anything on the hood for it to close.
