Motor Fan Assembly, Flapping Clicking when Air Conditioner (a/c) on

We had been hearing a loud clicking / flapping sound from the engine area, usually when the a/c was on (although the a/c still worked). I took a video so the service department could listen and they identified the issue immediately. The Motor Fan Assembly (Blade/Bushings/Shroud) was replaced under my extended warranty (Nissan Security Plus GOLD Preferred purchased, online, through Jim Bone Nissan in California, for our 2015 Pathfinder)

Two main points ... the Motor Fan issue is: 1) a known issue by Nissan but not subject to recall as of yet, and costs $800-$900 to fix; and 2) It is NOT covered under the Security Plus extended warranties UNLESS you have the GOLD level plan... so just something to keep in mind...

Overall the truck has been great BUT I am very happy I purchased the extended warranty.
