So i just got my car back from doing a 300zx brake swap and i went on a little spirited drive and at a stop light my engine died when in neutral. It doesnt happen everytime and it starts right back up, no abnormal noises or anything. Sometimes my idol fluctuates between 600-1000 rpms on a rough day, but does anyone know what this could be??

Check codes. Most likely MAF. Moving this to 240 tech so this can actually be seen by 240 guys.

Check your TPS signal voltage, should be 0.5v KOEO. Also check to make sure your throttle body is clean.
And it's a good idea to check base idle speed and base timing

Most 240sx eventually have a problem with idling and stalling. Most of the time this has to do with the IAA valve that controls the air mixture during idling. You can fix this by having dealer adjust the valve or simply have it replaced.
