just takin' her out to the best pancake place in town. now that you mention it tho I should have gotten her a card too. mebbe I'll do some cheezy homeade thing with my computer. she likes that kinda stuff cuz she's a geek like me . . . uhhhh, I mean we are both cool as hell. oh nevermind.

i called my mom. she was happy. i called her back when i read this thread and told her fiznat said hi. she said "who the hell is fiznat??"

Hehe... I got my mom a card (Halmark, of course) but that thing was 7 damn dollars. Well, becasue it was big. I was reading all the 'regular' cards and saw this big card (like the size of a regular sheet of paper) and was like... yeah... that'll work.

Plus got her a gift certificate to this tanning salon place.

my mom got a $20 locket that said mom on it from me and she was happy....you must have one of those hard to please moms:rolleyes lol

For christmas I got my mom a foot spa, for mothers day I got her one of those hot wax dippy thingies for hands and feet and stuff, along with some toe nail polish, body scrub, and matching smelly lotion. Then I added my brother's name to the card because he forgot mothers day.

Then I made her breakfast in bed, and snuck onto our old property last night for lilacs(her favorite flower)

Gave my mom a card, and then proceeded to detail her 626...clean, polish, wax, steam clean. Sucker looks better than it ever has. Took me all darn day, but for Ma? It's worth it. She had to put up with my '77 MGB rotting away in the backyard for 5 years...

i hate this ****ing ****ing day, now don't get me wrong, i love my mom, but i hate being scammed into being forced to by my mom something, it's a ****in scam, just like valentines, ****in bigazz corporations coming up with fake holidays to screw me out of my hard earned money
