motegis are kinda heavy, they're cast and i've got the mr12s. i bought cause they were cheap and looked good (cause they're gold), but if you're looking for lightweight racing rims find something forged and more expensive. i.e. you get what you pay for.

well, I sell them, they're made by american racing, just like R0_JA, and some of them are pretty light, but not much ligter than your stock wheels, the mr7 Is like 17lbs in a 16" I think, I'll doulbe check at work tommorow and give you all the weights by size if you want.

if you want a "looks" rim, thats not incredibly heavy, its not a bad choice, being fairly inexpensive and of decent quality.

I would like to see you go with something lighter, but if your not gonna be racing it, or are even into performance that much(just want to make it look 'pimp' or whatnot) then I wouldnt tell you not to get them.-chet

yeah, I work for NTB, which is owned by sears. I can get the rim special released if someone wants them really bad, but I dont think most of my customers care about the mr-7. most of them are looking for VOLK, Ro_JA(a motegi sub-brand), or other higher-priced and better quality wheels.-chet

If your getting 16" and you have 300zx calipers check for fitment at pepboys or something before you buy.
