most ticketed car in the US

Ran across this on my FB newsfeed. According to Insurance.com, 2 car models lead a fascinating category: Highest percentage of drivers nationwide that have been ticketed own these 2 cars. Interestingly, a Nissan tied for first place. Yay Nissan.... oh wait.

33% of both Lexus ES300 and Nissan 350Z drivers have been ticketed while driving these cars. That means 1 of every 3 350Z or ES300 owners have gotten at least one ticket. I guess I better be more careful, I have a 350.

the next highest ranked models:

Dodge Charger ('Murica!!!!)
Veedub Jetta (farfegnuge... what? )
Chevy Monte Carlo (baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and.... tickets)
Mazda 3 (be careful Bex!)

I was kinda expecting a huge seller like the F150 to be up there, or a marque where the owners have a "reputation" (like BMw) . But since these rankings were based on percentage instead of volume, I guess that lets less prolific selling cars to compete better.

Chargers are probably pulled over a lot for DWB. They're a staple in Wayne County, Michigan. People lease them for FCA's $199 giveaway price.

I've gotten tickets in 5 of my last 6 cars haha... some of them multiple times.
I haven't had the 'vette for very long though... give it time and I'm sure I'll have 6/6.
