Lotsa folks like to brag about their state's virtues. Well, attached is a link to an interesting article + chart showing just the opposite. It shows a statistically worst item for each state.

For example,

Arizona has the highest rate for alcoholism.... (cheers!).
Minnesota has the highest number of tornadoes. (I'm sure they'd say that "blows") and
Washington State has most reported cases of bestiality. (that's ba-a-a-a-a-a-a-d)

I'm pretty much okay with having the least federal government influence. It means nobody can blame us for the inevitably terrible choices made by our representatives in Washington. As we learned from Wargames: the only way to win is not to play.

And, anyway, when I'm Emperor congressional influence won't exactly be a big factor. At least not for me.

Kansas: Poorest health. Not surprised. LOTS of fat ppl here. Our "local" diets are terrible too.

Memphis must be the reason Tennessee is the most corrupt state.The city government officials are a bunch of clowns.

Worst drivers is certainly true of MA. However, "most absurd taxes" was probably a strong contender for first place. Or corrupt government officials. Or stupidest toll position- which is RIGHT when you're leaving the airport, no way around it. WELCOME TO MASSACHUSETTS! NOW PAY US $4.50!!!
