I've been looking for a quality ridged strut tower brace for my S14. Most of them like Greddy, Cusco, ect all look the same, single bar bolted to end plates that can pivot. Then i saw the DC Sports strut tower brace, it looks to be a much more soild design than others i've seen for the S14.

I did a search for the DC Sports brace but i can't find any other posts about it. Is anyone using it, if so what do you think of it?

Are there any other solid strut tower braces out there other than the typical Greddy/Cusco design?

There's a custom one in the group buy section I believe. All welds and not bolted to the plates.

I have the dc sports front tower brace and i like a a lot. you have to make sure your car was not in a wreck or anything like that because it has no adjustments.I had to notch mine just a little bit to get it to fit.

Do you have a pic of that DC Sports brace installed? I'm really leaning towards getting one.

I would check out GTSPEC. They make some really nice/beffy looking products. I have heard nothing but good reviews about them. I plan on ordering their strut tower bars and c pillar bar for my hatch when the time comes. Here is their website.

If you don't plan on running SCCA SOLOII, I would look for a K brace, one like THIS. Ties the fire wall to each strut top. problem for me is, it would throw me into some ridiculously high class. And since I don't have struts, I don't really see a need for one.

I'm sure most any race / fab / maybe machine shop could build you what ever you want. . . for a price. Might take them a photo of that DC piece if that is what you want, see if they could build you something similar.

I guess that explains why i couldn't find any info on it on here. Thats too bad, it looked like a beefy brace.

I just bought one of those DC Sports bars yesterday, they refunded my money this morning and said this "Note from Merchant: Sorry about that we cannot fulfill the order due to sold out and back ordered issue. http://www.intakeone.com "

buy a GT Spec bar, they are beefy... check it out here...zer...age=4you will most likely only find a DC sports bad in stock or used, why would you want to indefinitely wait for a preformance mod?

Back from the dead!

I recieved my DC strut brace today and i must say this thing is awesome! This design is deffinatly more sturdy than the bar bolted to 2 plates design.

Big props to Jeff at 240sxmotoring.com for not bulls***ting me.
