Most powerful SOHC?

Does any one know who has the most powerful SOHC.

How about most power on stock block and most power on built block.

Adam Hutchinson runs a built SOHC putting out somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 rwhp.

He also races it in SOLO1, with many top 3 finishes against heavily modded vettes, vipers, etc.

There is also a guy on the Ka-t.org forums thats is currently building a very tastefully done s14 w/ tons of cool work. And yes he is swapping in a SOHC into the s14 and by the looks of his parts list / intended boost he should be around like 450 to 500 RWHP

i know jgs' car is at 325 and jordan gladman's is at 350, but at the same time theres people out there building them to make more...like yours truly, although it wont be seeing that every day by far

honestly , i dont see how if you build a sohc right and beefy why you cant get the same power as the dual cam and i have seen plenty of 525+ Hp Kade's

There are a few 500+ hp ka24e drag cars in puerto rico.

But yeah, everyone knows the most powerful drag KA here in the states is also a sohc.

MAN sohc dohc ... just work with what u have cuz displacement is equal 2.4l on both ...sohc easier to work on and has less moving parts dohc has more affordable parts(ebay wise). Power wise they are quiet equal .
