Well you could install JWT cams, or make a stroker motor from the bottom end of a 3.5 with the top of a 3.0. I don't have any hp numbers off the top of my head for them. You could have the heads worked, or bore the cylinders...the possibilities are pretty endless.

This is going to be a very dumb question on my part but...what do you mean by stroker motor?

Increase displacement by increasing piston stroke. The 3.5 has longer stroke (and bore) than the 3.0, so you can use the crank and rods from it with the 3.0 and end up with something like 3.3 liters.

You just cant add all of them up and say Ill get 50hp from that. If it were that easy everyone would be doing it. with all that done you might get 15whp. you can doIntake, header exhaustcluch/flywheel if manualvalve body upgrade if your autoecu raised rev limiterhead work with high conmpressino internals. The list goes on and on. What type of power are you looking for and whats the power being used for. Drag? autoX? depending on what you want you will need to do diff. things. Along with doing brakes so you can stop as fast as you can accerlate. suspension.

If you're staying away from forced induction, and don't want to spend too much under the hood, you can keep all the internals stock, leave the fuel pump stock, and add a 50hp shot of nitrous oxide. That will be a simple way to give you an extra 50 hp and it'll cost you about $1000 for the best set up around. You will have to change out your spark plugs and run them a step colder. You can change out the fuel pump and go two steps colder on the plugs, and run a 75-100hp shot.

Here's a nitrous article that I wrote a while back. It should answer a lot oif questions that you may have.

Oh, and done correctly, nitrous is very safe for the engine. The key is doing it correctly.
