I was walking at lunch in downtown Charlotte with a buddy who walked into a no parking sign while doing the same.
i hate walking into signs, happens all the time. the crazy thing about the "girl" i was staring at while rear-ending the parked car, it was one of my friend's moms.

[OT] Yeah, I realized the other day that I'm starting to get older. I was in a mall and noticed two attractive women coming my way. One really caught my eye more than the other, but objectively they were both very good looking. Turns out the one I was staring at was the mom, and the daughter was probably 18 or 19.

So it's official: I'm now more likely to notice women in their forties than women in their teens. Seems fitting that it happened the same week I got my first /really/ nice, grown-up car. I know many of you guys have a few years on me, so it may sound like a stupid story, but I bet if you think back you'll remember when girls under 25 started looking "too young".

My most worst driving experience (note that i am only 17 so i will have hundreds to come) is when i was about 13. My mom would let me park the car from the driveway to the front of the house. Well this time i some how convinced her to let me park it infront at night while it was snowing. It was about 10 pm and it was dark; with a big theory about the car sliding back (driveway was unpaved and was a slope) so me being the good new teen that i was decides to punch our 2000 neon and feel it sliding. So i did it over and over on the street; accident free i might add. I pulled back into the driveway and started reversing and i hear a BANG! it turns out i slamed into the gate and broke the side view mirror. i oviously made tire marks and lied that a car must have hit it during the night with the snow and all. I picked up all the pieces and placed them by the car. i know im young

After I had first gotten my license and learned how to drive a stick begged my dad to let me drive his 911 C4S around for a bit. He somehow agreed and on my drive I pull up to a stoplight thinking how awesome it is that I am driving this car that I decide I am going to gun it on green. Well good ole Porsche uses that interesting shift pattern where reverse is the far top left and on this particular car wasn't hard to shift into. So the light turns green and instead of flying ahead I end up going backwards . I'm just glad no one was around to see it.

Been there, done that! Wasn't a Porsche in my case though ... column mounted gear shift got me confused on an old Toyota sedan. Luckily, there was no one behind me - I screeched backwards a few feet!

How about driving in your band new coupe, you got your friends sitting in the G and it's making all these popping and clanking noise like the car is 30 years old... That has to be embarassing.

I posted a vid on thise popping and clanking. Check it out.

tried to race a Celica GTS in my Hemi Ram from a dig on the freeway. When I floored it and down shifted from overdrive 5th to 2nd and ate the rest of the friction material off the clutches in the over drive clutch set with a loud CLUNK which I'm sure the Celica heard.... then the motor bounced off the 6400 rpm rev limiter

It took me two weeks and cost me $1000 in parts to rebuild the transmission.

Toasted clutches

Broken hubrobot vomit
