I'm looking at getting some gauges myself. I'm going to try to squeeze them in a DIN-sized pod, which basically limits me to 52mm. If you're mounting them somewhere where space isn't an issue, get the largest you can. Bigger gauge face = easier to read, all other things equal.

I use 60mm gauges. They are easier to see although mounting can be difficult because of their size. It's really just personal preference.

hi, yes i saw that HKS has a 240 din gauge holder. ebay wanted $67.99 but im sure its worth it even for the HKS name, but i decided to buy this because it looks cool but also keeps the function for the a/c and holds 2 gauges. the gauges it will hold is the 2 1/16" (52mm gauges). i used to have a lude and a civic which i ran 2 5/8" gauges but wasnt sure what all the 240 owners ran. the type of gauges i want to run are the Tein/DEFI link meter BF amber red models, linked up with the DEFI-LINK CONTROL UNIT II. i fell in luv the way they power on and turn off!

everyone runs different stuff...theres not a specific gauge size that 240 owners use. most gauges and gauge accesories i've seen are for 52mm though.

blitz blm, should be 60mm. it's not bolted to anything and neither is the cd player. mounting the gauge to something just adds unnecessary weight.

I prefer the 52mm. They're pretty easy to see and read, the 60mm are just too big IMO.

I have two autometer sport comp black 52mm gauges, on the A-pillar. they look nearly stock (white numbers, black backround) and funciton well...and they don't cost an arm and a leg. So far, so good. If they break, I'll be using Defi or Apexi.-Chet
