Sine we talk so much about FI engines in here, why has this item not been discussed? I see it as a way to reduce TONS of engine wear that is done on startup in most FI cars. For those who don't know, the oil accumulator is powered by compressed air and uses either a remote control solenoid valve to open the vavle to it's internal oil supply and pressurize your oil system. Since it only uses a small burst of compressed air you can keep a small compressed air tank somewhere in your car and just fill it at home every week or so. You could also wire the remote control solenoid to be operated by hand. I know many blown V8 guys and other forced induction crews that think this is one of the most valuable pieces of equipment they own. Anyone have an opinion on using one of these in any of our turbo-charged motors?
