ok new turbo, garrett GT2530 ball bearing turbo, is on the car, but i cant get it to run low boost i keep hitting upwards 15 psi. also my O2 sensor housing that bolts onto the back of the compressor has threw its bolts and is now shifted off the compressor housing a bit !! over spool due to that? TMS do those guys curse these motors before they junk them. anyways i have my walbro in and the turbo done i just cant push the gas more then a inch before i hit boost cut i cant wait till i can push that sucker to the ground and just go!:help

well i fixed it .... turns out i used a very very restricted port on the intak mani and it was actually acting like a boost controler and raising the boost way too high! so i put it into the PVC elbow on my hot pipe and its not goin higher then 7psi now time for the track on thursday and to up the boost to around 10 and my first time slip and see what all my battles were fought for ...

Did I read that right? you have a plastic PVC pipe in your intercooler pipeing? Get that thing out of there before it starts to break down under the heat and dumps powdered PVC material into your engine:(

mad its comming out thursday moring before i get to the track to get my quater times!!! i dont want to be pushing over 10psi with that in there! its more to just get it from my shop to my house right now ,and to make sure everything else is working properly... by the way whats the safest hightes boost level i can run on stock ECU and stock injectors??? my new turbo a GT2530 is putting out 3psi less then the stock t25 .. i was at 10 with the stock unit and now only at 7psi think runing 10-11pounds would be ok when i get to the track ... i have a walbro highpressure 255lh pump.. and running 110 octane race gas and its rather chilly here 30-45fJon

jon you dont need no stinking boost controller just unhook that wastegate drop in some 110 and run open wastegate. if it pops well you boosted to much. it sure will be fun while it lasts though lol. by the way any word on them pics of the car?

well i thought i had everything done, but nope.......

still idles way too high, 1100-1400 i cant get it to lower this.. i think tore up my clutch today ! i have a exhaust leak damn ticking and tapping..oil still leaking from return line!!! car felt like it was holding back and stiffled...

could my TPS being out of adjustment cause that held back feeling, or is it possible its just my imagination cause im only boosting 7psi and not 11-15psi!

also if my timming is too advanced cause high once the car is warmed up ... cause it idles fine when first started but onc its warmed up and driven it stays high, i tried disconnecting the AAC and turning the idle screw but it does nothing. ive tryed turning it with the AAC hooked up... i tried moving the TPS around hooke up and not and i can adjust it by like 100rpm down... im goin to start reading the FSM again to try and figure it out.. i have to pull codes sunday when i goto work on it again... bad coolant temp sensor??? bad DET sensor?

blahhhhh this car sucks ...... im spending more time and money working on it then sitting in it !!
