So i would love more steering angle. it sounds great. but i dont understand how longer tie rods will do that. Maybe im just dumb , but at full lock, longer tie rods would work for the outside wheel, but the inside wheel would not turn in as tight. and when driving strait it would be toed in. the only ways i can see to increase angle is to have a steering ram with more throw, or to move the tie rods closer to the pivot point of the spindle. if anyone can explain what i am missing i would be grateful.

It's not really longer tie rods, but the threads on the inner tie rods that go into the steering rack are longer to accommodate steering angle spacers (i.e. Tein tie rods). These spacers move the pivoting ball joint thing on the inner tie rod farther out, which allows the tie rod to pivot at larger angles. In fact, when I put mine in I had to "shorten" the tie rod to keep my alignment right.

It's like if you put a screw driver into a pipe: The farther in the screw driver the less angle you can swivel it around. The farther out, the more angle.

yup.. on the knuckles they cut the tie rod bolt hole, and re-position it to serve a better lock free angle, and also remove the bump stops on the knuckles.
