Just curious, has anyone tried Butyl Flashing Tape or simple fiberglass instead of things like fatmat or dynomax?

can't say I've heard of or tried that...interesting.

I have had experienced with 'second skin'. it's a good product/alternative to dynomat...I first used it in my CLK w/a single 15" L7 sub...kept the sound tight, no rattle!!! I just finished lining the trunk in my M with it also...looking to add a little 'somethin somethin' in the trunk :chuckle:
