Yeah, Tulsa got hit by the tail of this same storm as it passed through Kansas & northern Oklahoma. Some of the heavier snowfall I've seen in a while, but it was just above freezing all say, so accumulation was kind of two steps forward, one back. Which is fine by me. Not to mention the 2" sod temperature is around 46 degrees.
Slushy mess out there now and countless fools in SUVs and trucks who think they are invincible in such conditions have found themselves in the ditch.
We've seen temperatures well over 80 degrees several times in the past few weeks, trees are mostly leafed out, and even the bermudagrass has been greening up. Even in the coldest winter months we rarely see pure snow like this, Tulsa mostly gets freezing rain and other formats of ice storms.
It'll be near 60 degrees tomorrow, though, so at least the slush will be short lived.
