Got a bit more work done today. Still waiting on freakin gaskets... JSpec refuses to answer emails, so I don't know what I am going to do. Had to order manifold gaskets so the turbo will go back on tomorrow along with the new stainless lines. One problem I have seen with them, there is no way I can run the stainless water lines. The water line on the back of the block runs into a nipple on the intake manifold, it is not a screw in type fitting that the hose needs. I may just have to run without waterlines. Anyone else running without coolant lines?

On to the pics.....

Old nasty, dirty, rusty block.....

Cleaned up, wire brushed, and repainted. Gloss black on the mounts and brackets, die cast iron for the block, head was just wiped down.....

MKIII Supra 450cc injectors installed.... They were a bit shorter than the stock CA ones, but somehow they fit and fit real nicely. I hope to god they don't leak.....

Had the flywheel resurfaced at a machine shop while it was all apart. 30 bucks and a great looking flywheel later....

Thats all for today. Tomorrow the intake manifold wiring gets put back together, manifold and turbo go back on, stainless lines get ran, and the newly painted valve covers go back on with new gaskets and also with Hex head bolts to get rid of those STUPID phillips head screws that keep backing out of the valve covers.... More pics tomorrow!!!

Also, I forgot to add, I got my Nis-Joe mounts done today too. Basically all I did was drill a hole towards the bottom of the mount, let all the goo ooze out, and then just shoved a tube of polyurethane in there and filled it back up. Then I went along the outside of the mount and filled in the little cracks and crevices with the polyurethane too. One tip if you try this yourself. WEAR GLOVES! This crap is messy. Also, it is beige too, so that will have to be painted over.

joe for the coolant line to the manifold just run a hose itno the SSline, you may have to make a step up hose fitting some kinda fitting from autozone in the hot rod parts section should work. it will have a lil nipple on one side and have a larger opening on the other, if need be ill explain to you thursday in person.

those are actually talon 450s, also did you find allenbolts for the valve covers????

No allen bolts were at the hardware store behind the garage, just hex cap bolts. They are the same length, so with a lock washer it should all stay in one piece. I am going to hit the Depot and see what they have.

As for the coolant line, I just remembered I can get a fitting from the plumbing section at the Depot. It is threaded on one side, and has a barb fitting on the other, that should work.
