I used Tein "HT" springs. 1.2" drop in front & .5" drop in rear.cobblecanyon wrote:What springs did you use for the dropped? How low did you go for the front/rear?Any camber issues or uneven wear of tires?
..........dont do that; i think the dual tips looks way better and makes the car look more aggressive from the rear. i think you should do a poll and see if that is the better route.07sportm35 wrote:My next Mod will be chrome tips (1 per side).
Suprisingly awesome! In certain circumstances actually smoother. Over HUGE potholes another story though but not bad at all(I'll try to avoid those). I have to contribute that to the tires though. The Toyo T1Rs have excellent ride quality and are quiet. Way soft for a performance tire. Furthermore the car handles better. Flatter on the turns, great strait line perormance, and more of a pleasure to drive.Backdoc7 wrote:Great Pic's. The car looks awesome.. how's the ride compared to the 19's with stock ride height? how's if for passengers in the back?
I was looking at these for my car since they are darn near the only wheel with a lip that'll fit the g37 bbk on the M45. They are nice, one peice design and fairly light. I don't know what the exact weight it, but test fitting the G37 BBK template at the one down at element wheels i didn't notice that it was heavy at all.maxnix wrote:Nice looking. Weight, offset, strength? Is it a 2 or 3 piece design?
Most performance compounds are soft.
High performance tires in general have a softer compound for more grip. The down side being longevity.maxnix wrote:Nice looking. Weight, offset, strength? Is it a 2 or 3 piece design?

Where'd you pick up the springs. did a google for them and didnt get much in the form of retail places to buy.. thanks!07sportm35 wrote:

What I meant was the ride quality is amazing soft. So far(300 miles) the Toyo T1R's appear to have a soft sidewall. The handling is very good but not exceptional. A huge improvement over my last setup though. I'm hoping they will stiffen a bit over the next couple of hundred miles.
Tires are at 39 PSI@ cold and the ride is still soft. If I didn't know better, I would have mistaken these tires for great handling touring tires. Go figure??? Maybe I need a longer break in period.

Correct! As a very rough approximation, the higher the UTQG wear rating, the "harder" the tire compound is ... to reduce the material loss as you drive, and the less sticky a tire. This reduces the grip - affecting braking and lateral acceleration.07sportm35 wrote:High performance tires in general have a softer compound for more grip. The down side being longevity.
