The Rays have been sold, and I swapped these on today. Car is filthy as it's rained for the last 3 days, but I couldn't wait to post some pics .

Looks great. Is the front offset a little too close to the fender? Sure couldn't go any further.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I have to say, they "look" much bigger than the Rays, but that's just an optical illusion.

Added an up-close front wheel pic, I think you could get a 255 in there, but it would require a wider wheel. So maybe 18x8 +38, or 18x8.5 +40, but I don't know what the inner clearance would be?? I can't get my arms/hands in there to check with the lowered stance .

Initial impression is they're much quieter than the RE040's?!?!

I was asking $350 + shipping without the tires. I'm not even sure what I'd want for them with the tires???

Rex,

I would take them off your hand if you could tell me if 245/45/18 would work all around with California Custom Springs on my 94Q. Also what is the shipping to 91766.

wow!!! those Murano's wheels really do look nice and I like a lot better than the Rays. Too bad IMO that the Murano SUV themselves are so ugly.

btw...that are looks a little familiar. Glad I can check back on it every now and then to see how it is doing. Now go burn some rubber off those Murano's Rex and then you will be like me.....getting new rear tires every 15,000 miles.

I'd probably want ~$750 + shipping, in all honesty you could probably put together a set for less if you do some good ebaying. Here's some "wheels only" auctions.

Thanks Rob. And now that I don't have to "take it easy" on the Rays tires, I will be driving it much harder. Though I was lucky to get close to 15k out of tires on my old Q .

Given the last pic, I think 245/45 would fit all around. As I'm running 245/40 up front. I can compare the overall "lowness" to a Q with the Cal Customs in June, or sooner if Wes comes over to Cincy.

Keith, looks great! you better have plenty of inner front clearance with a 7.5 +35, as I'm told an 8.0 +40 will work on the front (new fx rims just arrived, too lazy to dry fit right now....)

btw, i will be shopping for tyres soon--your take on the csc2's?

Yeah, at 7.5", you should have plenty of clearance, even lowered. The other two sizes will fit also, with either offset, and most 255/40-18 tires.

Ah, but lowered, it will be tight, but should be good except maybe at full lock on a ramp or bump.

Car looks awesome with the Murano wheels. They actually look better on the Q than they do on the Murano.

It'd be great if they were 8" so you could go with 255/40.

Nice! To be honest, I loved the Rays wheels. Wider and lighter!

But the Murano wheels look good too.

Remember that if the tires dont rub on a stock suspension they probably wont when its lowered!

the 245-45s will work on a car with cali customs.

that has to be the best choice of OEM wheels for the G50 IMHO

And stronger!

Form vs. function.

Dynamic vs. static.

Performance vs. parking lot.

I liked the Rays as well, they looked sprtier and were forged. But in the end it comes down to money .

I couldn't pass on selling the Rays.

The Murano is as heavy as a non-active G50, and these balanced with minimal (1/4 - 1/2 oz total per wheel) weights. Even though forged the 350Z is lighter by ~500 lbs. That wasn't a problem for me, but worth mentioning.

And FWIW, I'm really looking for a set of 17x8/17x9 forged wheels. That's what I really want.

I've made full lock turns with no rubbing or "sounds".

The CSC2's are nice and quite in comparison to the RE040's and so far, I've taken some corners fairly agressively and haven't noticed any decrease stability. Even though the wear rating went from 140 to 280. But I've always felt you can't compare wear ratings from different brands.
