I assume my car is b12 series and i need to know if the sr swap wil still work in my car.

First off,

B11 - 82' to 86'B12 - 87' to 90'B13 - 91' to 94'B14 - 95' to 99'B15 - 00' to 06'C - 07' to current

You can swap an SR in any of these. First you need to find out what engine you have ( you seem as if you might not be sure ).

Stock engines for B12:E16 - 69hp, 4 speed manualE16i - 70hpGA16i - 90hp, SOHC ( Single Over Head Cam )version of GA16DE

In my opinion if your going to do a swap, swap for a SR20VE

SR20DE - 140hpSR20VE - 187hp
