get 3 or more inches, 2.5 is constrictive and will hurt the turbo. Backpressure isnt the name of the game with a turbo. I wouldnt venture past 18 psi on the T28 assuming its the S15 T28 your refering to.

i heard 20psi, but yeah i agree about the 3in pipe, or get the N1 duel, i'd love to see how that thing sounds on a SR....

you'll be pretty close to 300whp..probably a lil bit less. its just depends on the tuning. (but at 14psi, not 7)

dude..on a turbo 3" is ideal. its a helluva lot quieter. if it was NA it would be different. i have 3" piping all through my car and its quiet as hell. but roars when i get on it hard. perfect.

You can pick up something larger like the ApexI GT Spec which is 3.74 inches and is helpful for any upgrade like higher boost or a larger turbo.

Turbos are usually quieter than NA cars to a point, but they require larger piping. I hear the Greddy and 5Zigen exhausts are quiet but i dont have any hard evidence or other info.

well you can see the hks titanium on their website, but you'll have to search for the hks sr20det part list and its listed under the exhaust section of that little list. it wont be under the general product exhaust section

Why do guys replace their SR20 MAF with a 300ZX MAF? Does it come off the NA or the TT?

I'd assume you's have a HP increase, but how much and what does the MAF swap entail?

Can the Infiniti MAFs be used also?

Thanks in advance for your help. I searched about the MAFs and this thread was the closest that I could find on this topic w/o starting a new one.

I believe TT Z32 but dont quote me on that. Reason for using them is the allow for greater airflow. More air is good.

Yes Infiniti MAF can be used, I forget what model though. at http://www.heavythrottle.com I think they mention it.

the s13 maf goes to about 5 volts at 300hp worth of airflow. 5 volts is as high as it can read. at 300hp worth of air, the 300zx maf is at a lot less voltage. you have to tune your fuel when you do this though, as you can imagine, you could go terribly lean if you don't.shaun
