1. Manual Bulb exposure. I held the shutter button down for about 3 seconds. Metered with my other camera.

Isn't Fort Griswald the home of the largest (or 2nd largest) 4th of July fireworks display?

Ever tried a long exposure with a CPL (circular polarizer) on a creek shot? Shoot upstream and get shallow rapids for the most interesting results. Nice photos, what camera do you shoot with?

No filters right now (aside from the clear ones I have to protect my lenses). When I do get one, it will be an ND filter. I'm not a huge fan of the look that CPL's give. I'll have to look some more though.

These pictures were shot with a Minolta X-700 with a 50mm f/1.4 lens. My main camera is a Nikon D7000 with an 18-200 and a 35 1.8.

Here's another that I decided to upload.

Let me see f i can get you an example of a shot I did like that and post it up. The nice thing about CPL's is that It will allow for a longer shutter time since it darkens and overexposure isn's such a problem. You get that "airy" feel to the water

Yeah, never had one, would be nice to compare side to side. A CPL will increase saturation of greens, when shooting nature its helpful.

Anyways heres a few shots I've taken over the years

Otto, I'd love to see that lighthouse photo blown up to a larger scale. Would make some nice wall art.
