GTA III came out yesterday.

They're both impressive. On my OC'd G2 (not exactly high-end) they both run great.
World of Goo is spectacularly smooth and works beautifully. It's the same game you get on PC or Wii, nothing's missing.
GTA III also runs well on my G2 at 1.2GHz, with some occasional minor slowdown. I imagine at 1.5GHz it'd be silky smooth, so I may just see what my battery life looks like with my max clock speed raised to that point. This is a single-core phone with a very dated GPU and it still manages just fine. The controls work very well, with a variety of input options including virtual analog stick and accelerometer. The control scheme is obviously very well thought-out, with the ability to look around by swiping, pinch-zoom on the pause map, and a very intuitive on-screen button layout. The visuals are actually upgraded from the PS2 version, with higher resolution textures, though it's still very obviously a PS2 game.
I'm very, very pleased to see both of these full-size, non-"mobile" titles hitting Android (and iOS). I very much hope Rockstar are planning to port Vice City to the platforms as well. I'd also LOVE to see GTA 2 make the transition as well.
